Infinity

Your time is carefully measured until it finally stops
Then future, past and present will be frozen hands on clocks
And in the black hole of Infinity, of what's left, you'll purge
As all those hidden ghosts in life, in death, will then emerge

With quelled chimes clocks are naught but pictures of what has passed
And beyond the perceptible you'll be close to alone at last
But those who never were will reinforce your silent weeping
And for your Infinity in your company keeping

You'll never, in forever, see them; but feel them and be amid
All the phantoms and spectres who have never breathed, or ever lived
But they'll need to feed, to be, on your final fading embers
Until your very essence is so depleted that no one else remembers

When the hourglass sands have run their course, you'll not deny
That what were the facts of the tangible will now not apply
In a forever place of perpetuity and endless penury
You'll repair yourself in a faded thought of a borrowed memory

Your time has come and gone, an evanescent flickering
And now doesn't exist in words, or thoughts, or subliminal whispering
All those who used to haunt you are the ghosts you kept
And Infinity's a place where they'll awake, for 'tis where they slept

I'll Reclaim The Dark

I'll reclaim The Dark from the maudlin brokenhearted
As I reveal all the horrors of the post departed
Let them forget their torturous self-loathing ways
So they can appreciate their misery as they dig their graves

Death will mock them and their trespassing treason
Evil's a vengeful skull fucking demon  💀💀맆💀💀!!!
And all their haunted hearts are mine to crush 💔😂,
Dealing in fathomless despair is my desolate touch.

All those world weary woes and piteous hugs; life's a bitch
But death, horror and evil is a blood sucking vampire witch
So in their tear filled graves, they've kindly dug, I'll hold them down
Watching their troubled bubbles burst until they finally fucking drown

Perplexed in Reflection

We've been here before, at the silver glass mirror
With the man in the mask a spurious shimmer
And he's concealing his face, it's part of his cunning deception
With my frozen facade perplexed in reflection

I know he's trapped in the glass, but he's corrupting my mind
He's touching our fingers, he wants them entwined
Oh my god, I want, but I cannot believe
That a silent reflection could ever deceive

He's been here before flaunting my guise
He's fooling them all, it's a brilliant reprise
The man in the mask is bereft of morality
Suggesting that he's the actual reality

Why am I the one he needs to defile?
Drip feeding his poison every once in awhile
Hidden beneath he'll be contemptuously sneering
Wanting what's mine and to be domineering

I've been here before, I'm the dupe in his eyes
I want to rip of his mask and sever our ties
And I want him to answer, with his lip sync replying
To the questions I ask about this realigning

I can't reach his face, so I hammer a fist
In a smear of my blood I grind and I twist
He copies my words of furious profanity
As he helps himself to the last of my sanity

We've been here before, at the silver glass mirror
But never before have I been trapped in the shimmer
He's wearing my face, but it's all a cunning deception
And I'm a frozen facade, perplexed in reflection

Three Stairs Creaked

There was the first, then the second; two stairs creaked
Hairs bristle on flesh as anxiety's reached
Reflected an image of a candle wax statue
Empty lost eyes where nothing refracts through
Exhale held breath and tighten a towel
Seek refuge in the warmth of a semi-damp cowl
That was the third! Three stairs creaked!
And now funereal fear has reasoning leeched
Interned by the terror and trapped in a bathroom
Repulsed by the ignorance of what might creep in the vacuum
Sucking in air, now that hysteria's got its hand in
Cloaked in the silence, what lurks on the landing?
Reach out with a clammy hand to the door handle lever
Easing it down with a head burning fever
And now every hair bristles on rippling cold flesh
Knowing, for sure, that madness will quickly infest
Ebbing light flees, to the void, through the door
Dead eyes reflect back, from a life long before...

...sometime, somewhere, three stairs creaked

Ebony Heart

Eddying smoke and mirrors and webs we weave
Brings sorrow from passion, without a reprieve
Our illicit needs are borne, in our ebony heart
Never to be assuaged, but sadly, forever apart
You cannot quench, you can only feed desire
Have hope in a reverie and be a guilty liar
Each tender moment, is too quickly passed
A lover's caress or kiss, might be the last
Repressing our reality, for our ebony heart
That's never forever, but always ardently dark

This Easter

On this irrelevant day today, this Easter, let us not forget
The death and rise of a revenant, as humanity's fate was set
A prayer for the dead and all the innocents suffering
Are the divine on pause, or are they merely buffering?

Feel the tepid warmth of our humanity
As the beasts of war enshroud all clarity
Let us drown in the verse of the epistles
As we gas the children and prime our missiles

On this fanciful day today, this Easter, have we forgot
This rock, this orb of Eden, is mankind's lot
The devil's a despot and no gods exist
And when the insane lead the blind, we should all resist

To Die In Dreams

If you die while dreaming, will you live forever?
To walk beside a sun-kissed coast in a sea of heather
Beyond the temporal grip and any cerebral query
Are there ambrosian tracts of an eternity theory?

Alighted there and aware, but then cast adrift
To be reborn in lustrous warmth from the graveyard shift
Might rainbows rise in the twinkling twilight hours
Above a pastoral swathe of aromatic flowers

All the cryptic wonders as you wander, or simply dither
Nectarous lakes; glass mountains, in a heat haze, quiver
Kings and Queens gambolling on checkered lawns
Bishops in castles, knights scattering pawns...

...And intangible faces from the past and a long lost lover
Melancholic and abstract, detached, in the arms of another
Slippery snakes on slopes; ladders climbing to clouds
Alpacas and llamas, calmly harnessed and pulling on ploughs

Not if, but is, as you stand at the apex of vertiginous cliffs
Towering white sea walls etched with your lives hieroglyphs
And do you hear an angelic choir, or something more appalling?
Drawing you closer to the edge; another step and you're...

...To die in dreams, is to live forever
In surreal scenarios watch the world untether
With a newly found clarity all is seen clearly
As eternity expands beyond any threadbare theory
