Night finally falls, upon the forest trail
Beyond a campsite, in a sheltered dale
But whoever was there, has now departed
To wander paths, that were never charted
Wind whispers and dappled moonlight falls
Rustling leaves, top endless trees, like walls
It's such a beautiful place, to be led astray
But if you can't leave, you will have to stay
In misadventures, the nightmares scheme
In cloistered darkness, the unbridled scream
So fear the woodland folk, or unseen sprite
For in the eternal forest, night follows night
There's a familiar stream, amidst the myrtle
For the path now trodden, is a perfect circle
And it's a blissful place, to choose to roam
Unchanging forever, where forever's alone
Night follows night, upon the forest trail
Leading to a campsite, in a sheltered dale
But there's no need to linger, just circumvent
With a path to follow, past an abandoned tent
